Tax Senior Analyst

This position’s primary responsibility is to support the Company’s global income tax provision under the requirements of ASC 740 including all public company reporting requirements including working with technology to enhance the provision process. This position will report directly to the Tax Provision Senior

Director but works closely with tax and accounting personnel globally.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review supporting work papers for the quarterly and annual tax provision including all public company disclosures.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of domestic and/or international tax provisions.
  • Utilize technology to facilitate and enhance the Company’s provision process.
  • Assist with tax planning strategies as appropriate and participate in the preparation of income tax projections.
  • Work closely with accounting personnel globally to assist with transactions, understanding business events, and other trends to ensure understanding of pre-tax income and tax implications to ensure items are correctly reflected in the tax provision.
  • Special projects as assigned including, but not limited to participation in the future automation of the tax planning, compliance, provision processes, and projects relating to other business initiatives.
  • Assist with integration of acquisition and other transformation activities into global provision.

Expected Areas of Competence

  • Demonstrates strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of ASC-740, FAS 109, and FIN 48.
  • Computer-literate with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; and CorpTax or other tax-compliance software.
  • Experience working with the consolidation of tax accounting for a multinational company.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or business is required.
  • 3-5 years of finance and/or accounting experience. Public accounting experience preferred.
  • Travel Requirements Up to 10%
