Director Treasury

 

This role will involve the complex cash management of a multinational corporation with approximately 50 bank accounts in over 20 entities across 10 currencies and multiple banks. The Director Treasury will work closely with both the Corporate Controller and the Vice President of FP&A and will report directly to the CFO.

 

The Director Treasury will be responsible for the following:

 

  • Tracking cash balances by account and setting up transfers whenever necessary to minimize use of revolving credit while ensuring adequate cash is available at each entity
  • Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements
  • Maintaining a rolling 13-week cash forecast in order to understand and prioritize upcoming cash needs
  • Producing weekly cash flow forecast variance reporting in order to understand historical sources and uses of cash by entity and improve the accuracy of the cash forecast
  • Reviewing significant disbursements for all entities and ensuring all payment priorities are consistently managed on a consolidated basis
  • Providing weekly visibility into AR aging and holding each region accountable for collections.
  • Managing banking relationships across multiple banks, while consolidating relationships and minimizing cost wherever possible
  • Working with tax professionals to ensure minimal tax implications due to repatriation of cash, including proper documentation of intercompany transactions.
  • Using hedging as appropriate to mitigate financial risks related to the interest rates on the company's borrowings, as well as on its foreign exchange positions
  • Advising the senior management team on the liquidity aspects of its short- and long-range planning 

Requirements:

 

  • MBA preferred or a master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or CPA with strong Accounting experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a mid to senior level corporate treasury
  • International Treasury Experience Required
  • Experience with mid to large revenue companies of at least 200M+ annual revenue is required.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills, oriented towards detail, thoroughness and accuracy.
  • Small and large project/program orientation.
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight time-frames and simultaneously manage several projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
