Senior E-commerce Marketing Consultant

Manager: VP of Marketing

Location: Andover, MA

Purpose & Scope:

In this role you will work closely with the key stakeholder from each function area and help define and develop the business requirements of all e-commerce products and features across all product lines that will drive revenue growth on a global basis. This project will have a huge impact on our overall business as we look to scale our business. You will work both independently and cross-functionally. This is fast paced business that has grown significantly by acquisition in the last few years, as a result we need and individual that can navigate a complex environment in a constant state of change. The role will report directly to our VP of Marketing


  • You will own the e-commerce strategy from inception through execution.
  • Develop an overall e-commerce strategy, inclusive of new marketplaces, marketing plan and support for existing marketing programs.
  • Help create a customer experience both B2B and B2C that is simple and user friendly.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Customer Service, and Sales to align the e-commerce roadmap with the broader strategy and objectives of the company.
  • Identify and track metrics to indicate performance and communicate throughout the organization.
  • Will own the Amazon business model, including all sales, budget, advertisement, product placement, online presentation, promotions, relationship, as well as the process.
  • Work on our current Amazon strategy and develop actions to improve our online presentation, including Amazon direct and 3rd party seller.
  • Work across all departments to provide guidance, education and insight into the role each function has within e-commerce. Must have the ability to lead without direct authority.

Required Experience:

  • 4-6 years in e-commerce product marketing experience.
  • Experience with developing an e-commerce strategy on Amazon.
  • UI/UX experience, opinions, and perspectives.
  • Experience successfully managing projects from conceptualization through delivery, on time and on budget.
  • Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights.
  • Deep understanding of business strategy and metrics.
  • Passionate about building functional and engaging user experiences by helping to inspire teams to create those experiences.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong cross functional leadership experience.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias for customer focused innovation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in either technology or business discipline, MBA a plus.
