Senior Marketing Manager

LOCATION: Brooksville, FL



To oversee the development and execution of client's identity and messaging, broaden awareness of the products and programs. Responsible for maintaining a comprehensive long-term strategic communications and marketing plan. Advise on perceptions, issues, trends, marketing strategies and effective messaging to advance sales and reputation. Work with all departments in support of our company vision to be our customers’ favorite supplier. Responsible for driving several aspects of marketing for the company, which includes communications for both printed and online literature, new-product development, and customer engagement programs. Drives and manages the ongoing content development and execution of the company’s North American marketing strategies. Preferred candidates will have proven skills in project management, copywriting, and multi-media programs.
Basic skills and experience requirements:

This position requires a combination of creativity with intuition and clear understanding of actions to
meet business objectives. Must have ability to operate with an ethic of entrepreneurship within a
culture of discipline to support development and adherence to standard work.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or related business administration from an accredited educational institution
  • Minimum six years’ experience in marketing and new-product development
  • Functional and working experience with Adobe creative suite of products, e.g., InDesign
  • Business acumen – possess insight to larger business goals and objectives and understand how the role fits into overall strategy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – experience in creating, composing, writing, and editing materials
  • Technical aptitude – experience in translating and communicating complex technical topics to execute the actions with easy-to-understand benefits.
  • Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills – enhanced by experience, education, and intuition. Anticipate and solve complex problems. Implement viable solutions.
  • Project management – ability to prioritize, create and drive related tasks, manage multiple obligations, and meet deadlines while under pressure; self-discipline
  • Ability to work in both a team environment, and independently, with limited direction, when necessary, to achieve objectives
  • Leadership – manage team of marketing contributors, work with cross-functional teams
  • Flexibility – be able to improvise and adjust to shifting priorities; positive “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Key duties include:

  • Manage all marketing for the company, which may involve outside service providers, marketing agencies, and contributors.
  • Develop the marketing strategy for the company that aligns with company objectives
  • Identify and grow new customers.
  • Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, and measure results
  • Monitor competitors, formulate and execute action plans accordingly.
  • Sustain knowledge of client projects, opportunities, goals, and external global trends that the client can exploit
  • Be a resource to other departments, as required, providing general knowledge information and specifications
  • New product development – from concept to implementation
  • Customer-engagement programs – acquiring new and nurturing existing customers
  • Develop and maintain marketing project calendar and dashboard to report key metrics of site, program and campaign performance
  • Copywriting – operate as a hands-on contributor as needed, with a focus on crafting content, editing, and publishing new/revised materials
  • Maintain brand style standards – ensure consistency between print, offline, and online marketing campaigns and overall marketing strategy
  • Photography – support development, i.e., photoshoots, art direction.
  • Lead a team of few direct reports, providing ongoing oversight and active mentorship and taking responsibility for their career development
  • Miscellaneous administrative duties in support of sales, office and marketing-related objectives
