- Scrutinize requirement documents, blueprints, and project plans to attain a comprehensive project understanding.
- Identify key production factors impacting cost.
- Keep abreast of current market prices for materials within the estimating system.
- Generate comprehensive job cost reports.
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with company vendors and contractors.
- Facilitate seamless hand-off meetings with assigned project managers.
- Deliver prepared estimates to management.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Associates Degree in Construction or a related field.
- Bonus: Familiarity with The Edge estimating software.
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient organizational skills and adept at prioritizing workflows.
- Experience in analyzing requirement data to formulate material and cost estimates for residential projects.
- Competence in reading and interpreting technical documents.
- Exceptional written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and conducting roof inspections.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify).
