Vice President of Field Service Operations

Location: Central territory (covers most of the Central time zone). Can be located anywhere in the footprint.

Overview:
The Vice President of Service Operations will be responsible for overseeing the field service operations across 40 locations and their territories throughout the Central for this durable medical equipment organization. This position will manage a team of 150+ employees and 12+ Directors, and will require travel throughout the territory.

Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight for the day-to-day operations of service fulfillment and service order processing teams across all central territory locations
• Formulate and execute strategies aimed at enhancing service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate closely with Directors to ensure seamless and efficient operations at all locations
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, employees, and suppliers
• Work in tandem with other departments to identify and resolve issues that may impact service delivery
• Monitor and analyze service metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement
• Develop and manage budgets for the service operations team
• Plan and execute training programs for employees to ensure their roles are performed effectively
• Manage and coach Directors to ensure their teams meet performance targets

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a related field
• Possess a minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in service operations, preferably in the durable medical equipment industry
• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory

• Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Work closely with the Directors to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all locations
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, employees, and suppliers
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve any issues that may impact service delivery
• Monitor and analyze service metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Develop and manage budgets for the service operations team
• Plan and execute training programs for employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
• Manage and coach the Directors to ensure their teams are meeting performance targets

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role in service operations, preferably in the durable medical equipment industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel frequently within the territory
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and foster a positive work culture
