Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, lead, and oversee the operations of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), MedSurg, and Med/Tele Floor.
- Ensure optimal staffing levels, maintain adequate supplies and equipment inventory, and efficiently manage patient throughput to ensure safety.
- Develop, implement, and oversee the department budget, actively participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, foster lifelong learning opportunities for staff professional growth, and ensure completion of required annual competencies.
- Mandated to be physically present on-site.
- Directly report to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Mandatory North Carolina RN State Licensure or Compact RN License.
- Three years of experience in critical care nursing.
- Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience in a hospital setting.
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
