Market Assistant CFO Responsibilities:
- Manage the hospital’s investments within established guidelines, ensuring prudent financial stewardship.
- Supervise the Finance Department to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of financial reports, including internal and external monthly statements, annual audits, and budgets.
- Establish and uphold systems and controls to verify the integrity of all processes, systems, and data, enhancing the company’s value.
- Generate reports summarizing and forecasting company business activity and financial position, encompassing income, expenses, and earnings based on historical, current, and anticipated operations.
- Provide direction and oversight in implementing and maintaining the decision support system.
- Coordinate and organize the financial operations of the institution, including revenue receipts, expenditure management, and asset conservation.
- Prepare and coordinate for year-end audits conducted by external accounting firms and third-party auditors.
- Stay updated on regulations and standards, ensuring compliance with directives from governmental/regulatory agencies and third-party payers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required to be onsite – this position is not remote.

Market Assistant CFO Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of finance experience in a for-profit hospital setting.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in hospital accounting.

Market Assistant CFO Responsibilities:
- Responsible for management of the hospital’s investments within established guidelines.
- Oversee the activities of the Finance Department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, and annual audits and annual budgets.
- Establish and maintain systems and controls, which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the Company’s value.
- Prepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
- Provide direction and guidance in the implementation and ongoing operations of the decision support system.
- Plans, organizes and coordinates the financial operation for the institution to control receipts of revenue, expenditures of funds and conservation of assets.
- Plans, coordinates and prepares for year-end audits by the public accounting firm and third-party auditors.
- Keeps abreast of all regulations and standards (including those regarding financial, billing and reporting procedures) to ensure compliance with orders or directives issued by duly constituted governmental/regulatory agencies or third-party payers.
