Sales Engineer
We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for an accomplished and high-energy Sales Engineer to contribute to the exceptional growth in our sales division. The focal point of this role is the promotion of a world-class, specialized industrial mixer that significantly reduces mixing time and set-up costs, delivering transformative mixing results.
This sales territory assignment spans multiple states. This dynamic position, suitable for a “road warrior,” is based in Butte, Montana and demands a minimum of 50% travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive and proactive can-do attitude, responding to customer situations with urgency and professionalism to build lasting customer trust.
- Articulate the technology and product positioning effectively to both business and technical users.
- Conduct compelling, hands-on product demonstrations at customers’ facilities.
- Understand a broad range of applications and technical requirements, responding to customers’ real-time inputs, requests, and application issues.
- Interface with internal Engineering and Operations teams to convey customer needs and technical requirements.
- Uphold strong interpersonal skills and excel in written and oral communications.
- Keep in-depth technical knowledge of the company’s product lines.
- Assist in the preparation of financial justifications, test data and processes, incoming sales orders, and detailed quotations for customer inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to drive new design wins and secure business in a high-activity sales environment.
- Align with and execute an aggressive strategic approach to developing the territory account base.
- Identify and address all technical issues of assigned accounts, ensuring complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process and product life cycle.
- Comfortable working independently, excelling in missionary sales and new market development.
